AGAIN, ONE OF US

AGAIN, ONE OF US

A Poem by Rene Velez

Like a child
with hands raised,
in faith, maybe
waiting to be saved.
and
maybe he was,
but still one of us.

She was not his
mother of mercy,
just the red upon
his white jersey.
As the world
hovered overhead.

And in their God decree
declared he should not be.
Judge and jury
resting in the hand
of one man.

The poem made me want to know more.
"And in their God decree
declared he should not be.
Judge and jury
resting in the hand
of one man. "
The above lines I did like. No-one should judge another without God decree. A wide open poem my friend. Thank you Rene for sharing your words and thoughts.
