COLORS OF A TAPESTRY

COLORS OF A TAPESTRY

A Poem by Rene Velez

Don't take the colors away,
leave them where they are
they are there, even if they
cannot see them.

Bold and rare.
A gift of the highest order,
filling every capacity.
Beyond human radar.

Lifetimes spent searching
like blind men in sunlight;
touched upon but unaware.

Colors of a tapestry,
rarely woven.
Seen only by the few,
worked into the very
fibers of their being.

a lot of blind eyes - accepting rhetoric as fact ...on both sides.

The Fear is real - Us vs Them ...and yet we are ALL both sides of that equation.

A amazing poem my friend.
"Colors of a tapestry,
rarely woven, but only for a few.
Worked into the fibers of our being."
You weaved a perfect poem and the above lines. Perfect use of words and thoughts. Thank you Rene for sharing the excellent poetry.
