OPEN TO SOMETHING NEW...A Poem by Rene Velez
Its good to see it
in its purest form, hanging from an arm, peeking for a view, a smile inviting an warm opened to something new, innocence knows no bounds just lights and sounds, the human glow that use to flow, but faded slow, we, losing a hold as we grew old, that bright aura magical like the Borealis, acceptance without malice, that crystal palace sheltering human dreams. I jumped in her flowing stream, her face dirty with butter cream, her eyes a jet black as I smiled and wave back. © 2015 Rene Velez |
