BUZZ AN INTERCOMA Poem by Rene Velez
As if the leaves
were on fire they will fall before the deep freeze warm jackets and scratch off tickets occupy cold hands forward, the endless walk warm socks for winter sands Cell phones keep an eye capturing what an eagle would feast upon that same finger would buzz an intercom for coffee or tea just before three, for a friendly visit, yes, that would be me. © 2015 Rene Velez |
