CHAMELEONS

CHAMELEONS

A Poem by Rene Velez

And if she is
I can't see,
upon the stage
she does not bleed,
hand gestures
speak louder
than her words,
actions like
the flight of birds,
they all came out
to sit and feel
but
all is a blur
and nothing is real,
an actress performing
on the wrong stage,
and whatever credibility
slowly fading away,
Chameleons were
made to adapt,
nothing of silver spoons
and a pat on the back,
and of the upper class
transparent like glass,
full of crass
and I should know,
focus on the words
they'll help you grow,
if you want
to be respected
and truly felt then
get on that stage
and be yourself.

Poetry is pain Hikari...your soul should bleed expressing it.
"an actress performing
on the wrong stage,
and whatever credibility
slowly fading away,
Chameleons were
made to adapt,"

For deceptions, for survivals, for security, for playing around with others, we all use the strategy of the Chameleons to achieve a short or long term goal. An excellent one on this subject...:)..............
