UNDER THE MAJESTY OF FALLING STARSA Poem by Rene Velez
Standing by the edge
to find the flattest stone, one to cast, to skim across cimmerian waters, insurmountable, behind a mountain, acclivity to achieve, a foothold upon verity, suction of sodden earth would leave the soul bear reckoning grandiose, a view, but pulse and flesh would not pause under the majesty of falling stars. © 2015 Rene Velez |
