IN THE AZUREA Poem by Rene Velez
I, in the azure,
salt dimensions, depths unknown to man where white sands echo the footprints of native elders of long ago, and ospreys dive in the divine like coins in a wishing well, as the winds bend palms, and the sun leaves warmth upon vacant hands, and to the eyes, it's only use... to dare into the heart of a dying day. © 2014 Rene Velez |
