SEA FOAM SUNSET

SEA FOAM SUNSET

A Poem by Rene Velez

A walk upon sea shells
lightly in step along
their Jagged way
white sands
mark the intrusion
amongst a sea foam sunset
engraving footprints
erased by the relentless sea
where once there was me.

'.. amongst a sea foam sunset .. '

There's beautiful sadness in this brief poem, made me gasp at the end. You have a way of making words sing their own song.

This has such feeling, longing and intensity. The words seem to flow very smoothly
