MAYBE GOD HAS HIS OWN STARSHIP

MAYBE GOD HAS HIS OWN STARSHIP

A Poem by Rene Velez

Maybe God has a starship
moving across galaxies,
Shifting stars like letters
on a theater marquee,
Maybe he,

has a trident or
a some miracle staff
with a power to heal,
wheel of the seventh seal,

maybe,
six shooters at the hip
with an angelic feel,
spiritually real,

with a spacesuit
instead of robes,
seamless clothes
the light exposed,
angels like UFO's,

a galactic emissary,
formidable adversary,
evolutionary, with an
on-board computer
named Mary?

...just saying.

You're welcome.
I love the image of God as the old west town Sheriff. "I'm the law in these parts hombre." That's awesome.
