ABC Poem Contest Entry

An "ABC" styled poem I made for kollaboratyve's contest.

Anyone can look upon the

Broken hearted and 

Call them 

Deteriorated.

Emotional scarring across their

Facial expressions show the 

Growth of sorrow as it

Hinders their abilities and heightens their

Inability. Many 

Judge these poor

Kindred soul as

Living a falsely negative life,

Mistaking their inflictions as self-imposed,

Never 

Opening their eyes to the 

Possibility that their 

Queer behavior

Really is the physical expression which their

Sadness has

Taken form to. Few who have never experienced this

Understand how it truly feels, and that is not a

Vain attempt at attention. 

Without someone to help, their soul grows to be

Xeric, bare, and 

Yield nothing to no one, becoming

Zombie-like and lifeless to all around them.
