Unexpected

It starts out as idle banter, 

some chit chat between two.

Some sarcastic humor in the mix,

and a friendship forms anew. 

Over time you grow much closer, 

but you are still both unaware. 

Things are growing a bit stronger, 

You find out that you really care.

Separated by the vast blue sea, 

yet a bond has begun to truly form. 

As fearful as they may be,

they feel something undeniably warm.

With fear always looming, 

and questions in their mind.

They continue onward daily,

what will their future find?

They are in each other's hearts,

How could this have been detected?

Such a love has blossomed, 

and it was completely unexpected.
