Lies, can’t be white!

 White lie, black lie, lies are lies - No point whitening lies

 Nor bleeding ourselves white - Whether black or white, a lie is a lie

 

 In all the countries with boundaries

 White is the colour of first honours

 White is the spectrum of all the colours

 We surely don’t mean to lie in all of them, do we?

 

 No, we can’t be serious, lies, can’t be white

 Neither can they be, black-hearted

 For black holes only exist, in the absence of light

 Lies are lies, and that’s the bottom line!

 

 A camera doesn’t lie - Neither does the aura

 We maybe can hide from the police - But we can’t hide from our sins

 

 So if, one of us, ever again - Feels unable to tell the truth

 Which, is very unlikely to happen - Amongst true-blues to truth

 He, she’d better be modest and request a truthful truce

 Hoist the white flag, to lay down of any lie purpose

 

 Let’s not even swear off, of lies and swearwords

 For if we have a word, we need not swear or give one’s word

 Let’s not even promise, for it doesn’t show much promise

 Knowing, we’re probably all promised

 To everybody else already

 Let’s not even insure, ensure, secure, or reassure

 For we can never be sure enough how much proof is sure

 One thing though, we can make sure of

 Is to give lying a definite lie

 

 White lie, black lie, lies are lies - No point whitening lies

 Nor bleeding ourselves white - Whether black or white, a lie is a lie
