StolenA Poem by Oren GiovanniHer
Her heart, engraved in a stone i toss around like an old rag,
A man so guilty as to ignore the world and hide his beautiful face, The oxygen she receives, produced by the promise of forever, Finally waiting, finally here, Within the gates of eternity, We stand side by side and she smiles, but I cannot, The simple truth, complicates her entire past, What is, what was, what will be, real? He thinks of her thoughts while she thinks of his actions, what was he thinking?
