I owe you

I owe you

A Poem by Oren Giovanni

I owe you love,
Love that was absent, When you were here with me.
But now i hand it over to the angel you've become.
The wings that carry me on, the ones you left behind along with your smile.
those wings help me realize, i'll one day reach you in the sky.
I'll make sure i live like this, as if you never left,
And with your memory, fill in the void that was left when you fell into eternal slumber,

I owe you time,
time that slid under me when i was looking away from you,
i'll hand over to you, every breath i take, every second i feel any sort of joy.
And here, in between this world of nothing, I'll think of it all.
Everyone will say something, But nothing will be heard. Until you speak.

I owe you peace,
Peace that was clawing its way towards your heart, until i reached it with my nature.
And i'm weary of these thoughts, images of what i could have done.
I want to rest in your forgiveness.

I owe you.

Ugh.. this is sad Gio.. that person must have definitely been someone special.
I love the idea of the wings and the smile left behind.

It is a nice one. Sometimes we just owe it to somebody

I'm a regular kind of different. I'm 18 and have no confidence in my writing really, people seem to like it, but as long as it puts a smile on your face, inspires you, makes you challenge me, as long .. more..
