Love's Last Words

Love's Last Words

A Poem by Rem Sevven

Love is but a lingered rose lying in the sand,
Tossed from beauties hands of kin.
Currish minds and lustful sin.
Upon a tearful grave bestowed-
Lays a diamond, not a rose.
For love so rudely broken,
"Love is cruel."
Her words last spoken.
