Appollo's Kiss

Appollo's Kiss

A Poem by Rem Sevven
"

Written March 23, 2007.

"
Glistening tears of sorrows told
Fine rays of ember gold
Caught from Apollo's ride across the sky
When his chariot had passed thee by.

Into the arms of Venus you have gone
The Sirens sing your sorrowful song
For what you thought to be love so true-
Has lied and then abandoned you

Then to Artemis's world of night
There you sit waiting for Mr. Right,
But you're hiding with shadows all around-
In this darkness your heart can't be found
