The Locked Door

In a world filled with doubt
I build a wall to shut you out

through tinted windows I peek and stare
those who see me seem not to care

and on a door not seen from without
I put a lock to keep you out

In a world of doubted dreams
broke and scattered at the seems

In my fortress I wait and hide-
from the world I see outside.
