Ice Queen

Ice Queen

A Poem by Rem Sevven
"

November 21, 2007, written during a Writers' Club activity.

"

One upon a time

In a castle made of ice

Was a girl

Stuck in time

Time enough to cry,

Cry away from judgmental eyes,

There she stays and cries and cries.

Its so cold in her castle made of ice,
She’s too frozen to be kind or nice.
Out of time and out of space,

So many memories she would like to erase.

Once upon a time,

A girl who cried and cried

Made her heart into a castle,

A castle made of ice.

I think the imagery is fantastic. I also really like the way you ended it and think the title is perfect. Good job.

I really like this one, how it starts and where it ends up. Great choice of imagery.

I love the rhythm of this poem! The flow is fantastic!
The imagery was lost in how awesome your unique stanzas were, but it was still vivid enough.
Good job!
