Without Summoning

Without summoning.....

Flat on my back

Face to face
with
the glaring sun

I
pressed
my cheek
against
the
toppled blades
of grass

To watch
my white horse
desert, hightail
racing away
in horizontal
fashion

Bewildered
exercising
deductive reasoning
to discover
what arnament(s)
had smitten
me down

As 
the sinful
chuckles
of repugnant
ogres
echoed through
my skull


And
suddenly
the
invincible sun
was extinguished
by a
slight overcast

As
I looked
up towards
the heavens

To
have
my nose
introduced
to the end
of a very
large stick

And
it spoke
aloud
commanding me
to stand aside

Leading
a jewel adorned
princess
Into battle
whilst warning
the ogres
who would
be next

That no
mercy
shall be
wasted
on their
miserable
existences

And
declared
the fate
shall be
the same

For
any other
would be
Knight....

Who
dare
interfered

Author's Note

Sometimes the worst thing you can in a crisis is to take over and try save the day.
Sometimes just being there if need be is the most heroic thing one can do.

Bare witness; I agree, to tell of what we have seen or felt, is sometimes more courageous than thrusting the first blow to the heart of a foe. I wold say words have a greater power to grow inspiration than the slash of a sword or the crack of a whip any day. And a lot of times that is what is threatened to those who stand up and speak the mighty words of truth...
