Spring in my step…

 

Let go the shackles of cold

Leave the musty confines

Venture out into the warmth

 

 Wintry blues to yellow luminescence

Orange fallen leaves and purple jacaranda

A distant Koel heralding the onset of spring

 

Afternoons by the open window

Revel in its misty sunshine

Smell the sweet acrid fragrance

Savor the sense of the season

 

Here comes the effervescent heaven

Let in the optimism and good times

 

To dust the soul from its cobwebs of winter blues

A promise of all that is good and joyful…
