"Hermetically Sealed"

A poem inspired by Hermetic philosophy....

Round and round and two and fro, as a person I wish to grow

I see it in the stars above, and bring it down to Earth sealed with love

Below my feet I feel it turn, the lessons of ancestors I wish to learn

Wisdom swells from within, sparking light in those darkened by sin

Outside myself I feel the pain, and a deep longing to bring hope again

My fluid moods like Mercury, maybe one day we all will see

Traveling to heaven and to the pits of hell, what today will bring I can never quite tell

Free will is ours to yield, avoid hurting others as our life is not hermetically sealed.
