Revitalised

Revitalised

A Poem by Robin the Empath

Poison once filled my veins with agony,
Black sin and strife consumed me naturaly.
Bitten by that serpant, Life, cursed for eternity,
But this day I chose my own sovereignty.
So I bite my rotting flesh to extract the toxin,
Suck, spit, mistakenly swallow, vomit.
And though at first it was hell,
I now ring that love-filled bell,
An' it ring aloud for all who need love to hear,
An' it be a source of inspiration for all those near,
To extract the venom writhing in their veins.
Remember that only you command the reins,
Of that rampaging, malignant steer called Life.
Her many forms filling all with strife.
Remember, she tricks is to belive that she owns control.
Be revitolized, for the struggle ends with death's bell's toll.
Extract your poison, whatever might it be.
Extract the blind from your eye, so you might see,
That in the catalog of Life's several savage forms lies
An honerable hound with loyalty's ties.
For my love-bell lies not in some belle maiden,
But in myself, and the life I lead, brazen.
It will get better, breathe this thought deep and sing,
But you must facilitate the change yourself, so your own love-bell may ring.
