The First Sin

The First Sin

A Poem by Reigncrest
"

A story of love turned to hate.

"
A song was offered, the light received

It brought a fellow full of love and glee

No scorn nor hatred entailed its rear

Only love for those who lacks within

For a better tomorrow that he had hoped

He looked far and wide for an untainted soul

To entrust his will, to entrust his love

To wish for the betterment of everything he loved

But little did he know about what lies in the midst

For only he who had created knows what's within

An innocent error, innocent indeed

But what you should really fear are these innocent things

A land once loved, now ablaze

Through the scarlet horizon, no one hails

In the midst of it all, a little boy gazed

With a screech as laughter, he stood amazed

He watched everything he had ever hated

The people he wished to die in pain

As they all perished in a fiery oblivion

That he himself had unchained

With his trust destroyed, his love betrayed

The guardian was consumed in so much hate

He banished himself into a lonely prison

Locking away his love and reason

Some say that he's still there this very day

Loathing everything for what he once held

Still cursing the day that he had thought

That love was a beautiful song

Love is a mystery mankind through all the ages have lengthily written about though it still seen unexplored.
The character in this poem feels the bitter side of love that he's inactive to his surrounding.
