Chapter One

A Chapter by Mandy

Wouldn't it be nice if there was just a plain and simple guide to living a happy, fullfilling life? A fool-proof, sure-fire list of do's and don't's? Unfortunatly, life isn't that clear cut, and there are a lot of specific details and circumstances that could make your personal situation the "exception to the rule". No book knows you and your specific situation, and you can't ask written pages questions on their content. Plus, with all the different information and contradicting advice out there, it's hard to know what to follow. I know one thing is for sure- no matter what any book tells you, in the end, your own heart always holds your right answer. I'm not talking about allowing your emotions to do the thinking, because that often leads to a big mess. I'm saying that everyone's ultimate decision should be their own, because only you hold your personal answers- (which, yes, requires outside factors to help you discover those answers, because if everything was already within, we wouldn't need a physical reality.) This book isn't going to be like the other books out there, becuse I'm not going to tell you exactly what to do. For one thing, when someone gives me advice, I always look at the source and how they're living to detirmine if their advice is any good. Well, I'm not exactly a role model at this point in time, but I know I have a lot of good advice; I just have to learn to take my own. I'm working on my life every day, and becomming a better person through the development of my personal life guide, (which I plan to write a book on once it is complete, teaching people what it is and how to make/use one for their best life). Basically, I'm just a lost girl with a lot of great ideas, and I wanted to share a lot of those ideas and life-changeing methods. I figured, while I'm fixing my own life would be the best time to write a book like this! So whatever works for me, I'll be sure to elaborate on. I have a lot of self-written quotes, saying, and acrenems that I live by, and one I hold high is "plan for outline, spontanious for detail". I have an outline plan that covers every aspect of my life, (which as I write this, is still in the works), but all the details are unplanned and natural. For example, my outline plan tells me qualities to shoot for, (giving, honest), but it doesn't tell me what to say, where to go, etc.. That's what this book is going to be; An outline full of the essential basics, (because I can't detirmine each of my readers personal lives and situations), for you to refere to as needed! Mostly written in list format, and is born the Reference For Livers!
