My 2 freestyles.

My 2 freestyles.

A Poem by Mandy
"

I thought they were good. Haha, I can't belive I wrote rap!

"

Spittin out compliments like it's my birthday,
Causein' you to speed all down the freeway.
I don't need no money, 'cause I know you pay,
Your giving me a big head, man, what can I say?
Don't feed my ego, 'cause ya see, I don't deserve it.
Don't treat me like a queen, 'cause I'm not worth it.
Holdja tears, learn howda work it.
And I can swear to you, man, I'm far from perfect.
Clear the way, 'cause I'ma commin',
Hit the ground, you're free, now start runnin',
Don't go frettin' 'cause ya lost whatcha won, 'n,
Don't be hurtin' 'cause I'm just one in,
a million,
And I garentee you could do much better.
I'm nothin' but a raincloud, gonna kill your weather.
I don't hold much, light as a feather.
But might I add, you'd look much better in leather.
Gettin' too used to dealing with this paparatzi.
I brand 'em with their worth like I'm some kinda nazi.
To you it's like I'm gold, but I'm really not, see,
I've been turned away just like I'm servin',
But that don't make you any more deservin',
I'm just sayin', I know what it's like, this hurtin',
Sometimes ya just wanna drop down the curtin,
'N tell it like it is, straight from the heart,
But it seems that's when it all starts ta fall apart,
I see that in your book I top the charts,
But hey, I'm just goin' with my true born art.
I'd like to take away the misary I'm causein'
But life won't stop for no one, there is no pausein',
You just can't charm me like no Jack Dawson,
I guess I'm just no Rose, that ship sunk without a cause, 'n,
The diamonds in the sea, the memories live on,
You just can't stimulate a soul when you're makein' it yawn,
We can still drive all through the night, no sleep 'til dawn,
Just know I might not be your parter, but I'm not gone.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

She told me friends, not gods, is the philosophy,
Picture I'm the prize, and love is free,
So simple, so give it away and let it drift out to sea,
Blinded to the answers you handed me,
All I see are challenges I love to hate,
But I belive in a little girl, and her name is fate,
Some days make my head spin, I get irrate,
These unresolved issues bare a heavy weight,
So I spit out my words, only to recieve those eyes,
As if anything I spoke came as some kind of suprise,
People like that, all they know are lies,
But while they skim the surface, I'll be on the rise,
If you misinterperate, I'll offer clearity,
I'm more of a gift, less of a charity,
See, talent like this is a rareity,
I sound so sure, but what else can I be?
After getting shot down, and in turn turning the gun,
I've gone from wanting all the answers to just wanting one,
So take in this play on words, perceive it as a pun,
But soon enough I'll have my time in the sun.

You've got some good stuff going on in here.

I think it's easier than you're making it out to be for yourself.

Keep scribing!
