When Emotional Meets PhysicalA Poem by Heather PhelpsSitting here tears in my eyes Watching over your shoulder As you let her attack our baby.
Might not be physical But it hurts all the same Why you never stop her Makes me wonder What your intentions are.
I get up to go to the washroom On my way I pull the plug That's no way to treat someone Especially not an innocent.
When you yell I sit here and take it Just to show how much I care But it doesn't make a difference You'll always be the same Forever blinded to her Her and her ignorance.
Hopefully you'll come to your senses Before you lose me and our baby girl. © 2012 Heather PhelpsAuthor's Note
