AnxietyA Poem by Reform69Wrote this because I was feeling very anxious for some reason as I sat in the backyard of my Brothers house.I sit in
darkness Enshrouding
me In a
blanket of anxiety, I turn my head Flares of light in the distance Blinding me, I stare
into the sky Balls of light Fireflies
caught in the great black web Barely
visible behind tainted light, I close my eyes A screech
or chirp above me Crickets
off to the distance An
orchestra albeit a s****y one Sounds clashing with one another Police
sirens adding to the ensemble A s****y yet
harmonizing tune, I take a deep breathe Waiting
and waiting For
something that may never come A sign © 2012 Reform69Author's Note
