Path of Gold

Path of Gold

A Poem by WindSong

Path of Gold

I walk along a path

Between the shadows of the trees

Beneath their bending limbs

I seek their warm and gentle breeze

I love the wonder of spring

In its beauty, I behold!

The scent of early morning dew

The center of its soul

I walk along a path of emerald

To a glistening path of gold

I bathe in wet sand by the sea

Its soft and gentle winds I hold
