A Season's Sanctuary

A Season's Sanctuary

A Poem by WindSong

A Season's Sanctuary

Entangled in a conspiracy

Of love,

Oceans of summer

Well up in me;

Idyllically-

A temptress,

Seductively

Obscured by the clouds:

I bear witness

To a season's sanctuary,

Of forgotten

Ideologies:

In a field of dreams,

I am lost

In the warmth of the sun;

And

Your love is melting away,

Forever,

In the winds

Of the sea.

Really fabulous work... seasons are bitter sweet, they bring back some memories and hide others.
