Forever

Forever

A Poem by WindSong

Forever

The winds of tomorrow,

Shall blow softly for thee;

No sweeter song of sorrow,

Shall there ever be.

I shall remember those days,

With heartfelt compassion;

Autumn's misty haze,

Candlelight, romance and passion.

My heart shall weep forever for thee,

In a meadow in the rain;

I shall embrace thine essence tenderly,

In quiet and gentle refrain.

............*sob, cries* THis is beautiful. While I'm reading, visions appear in my mind and those words you so artfully put into the poem just makes me sob....

As I read I am thinking about winds of change. Your emotions are expressed wonderfully even if they do convey a hint of sadness.
