GaiaA Poem by WindSongA purple dahlia grows in a lavender field. Flowers blow softly like long tresses of hair. Gaia stretches along her summery paths, And meadowlarks sing to her there. The forest is peaceful in a misty haze. Summertime zephyrs subside with the day. The goddess weeps with the weeping willows, And rose petals elegantly drift away. Amid falling leaves of crimson and gold, Blackbirds perch on the limbs of a tree. Silver feathers still sway in the wind, And light breezes gently breathe over me. © 2014 WindSongAuthor's Note
