What they didn't doA Poem by ReesesBasically describing how being taken for granted makes one better appreciative of when someone really cares. . .As I look at you. . . I'm reminded of all the things they didn't do I remember when I loved alone and loved invain I recall only desiring to live without being sane
I can't stop looking at you. . . I'm constantly reminded of what they didn't do I felt lyke maybe I was the one to blame I loved them so much I barely remember their names Leaving my heart ripped and blood-stained Snaking out at me lyke a lion chained
I wish you could see me looking at you. . . You seem to always remind me of what they didn't do You show me that I'm okay just being me Your smile, your laugh; close to you is where I wanna be You won't stop reminding me of what they didn't do. . . So I will keep waiting for you to do something new
