I was inspired to write this by another writer and im going through one of those modes anyway. . .

Be Good? I really should

I would try if I could

I remember us when remembering was all we knew

First kiss then lyke trees, we grew

Now I can't seem to step away from craving your kiss

I'll blow out the candles praying for you to grant my wish

 

Be good? I really should

I would try if only I could

I recall holding your hand to mine

The first hand ive held besides the one that tells tyme

I smile at how your fingers healed me

Still the thought of your kisses thrill me

 

Be good? I really should

I wanna try, I wish I could

I'm falling off track again

Wanted you at birth and when tyme ends

Maybe its my fault and progress fell out of sight

When luv goes wrong, nothing goes right

 

Be good? I think I should

Ive tried many tymes and I never could

Well, it looks to me as if trying to forget a past love isn't as easy as thought. Never is...but doable. It does take time and a hell of a lot of patience with the self and surroundings. Good one.
