Driven

Driven

A Poem by Reeses
"

Attempting invisibility

"

I'm driven away from you.

Not willing to stay with you.

Apart will do.

Not trying to play with you.

You drove me away with your lies and deceit.

We are not one so I can't call you a cheat.

Your kisses take me to n emotional peak.

Your touch knocks me off my feet.

I'm leaving the kitchen because the heat. . .

makes me weak.

My heart you did capture. . .

You threw it down the rapture. . .

into floods and killer grass.

Love comes easy but don't die fast.

You were my first and will not be my last. . .

heart break to add to my plate.

My soul and my heart's stolen mate.

I fell into this love; I went diving.

Wait a minute. . .I'm still driving.

Driving away from your love.

Driving away from your kisses and hugs.

Speeding on a path that stands still.

Forced to question if our love is real.

I'm losing concentration.

I now lack my winners' sensation.

I'm abusing time spent on the phone.

If you're not with me, I don't want to be alone.

This love is a rolling stone.

Consequential like a no parking zone.

We part ways and I still smell your body's scent.

I must repent and leave this mental impediment.

I am driving; a love gone astray.

Driving down a circle road; driven your way.
