Untamed Melody

Untamed Melody

A Poem by Reeses

Don't really know where to begin.

I didn't retype this from my book; didn't lift my pen.

I kind of thought of writing and flew right in.

An ill start that will find focus in the end.

Never learned to love wholeheartedly, I just liked the word.

Never used nouns, i described like verbs.

I was asked many questions with answers leaning towards sorrow.

I loved you yesterday so I will love you tomorrow.

I sometimes feel trapped among my outrageous stages.

I wrote a book for you last night and forgot to add pages.

I suppose I'm just stupid or maybe too damn impatient.

My mind always thinking but my mouth won't say shyt.

I wanna give up but love has grown to be familiar.

So familiar that without it I'm only a killer.

A broken person lacking inspiration.

Love is school and I need my education.

Don't forget to miss me the way I've always missed you.

Be careful not to miss me the way kids miss loose tooth.

Be careful not to be sweeter than fruit juice.

Be sensible and memorable as your roots.

I could call you a liar right now but you are truer than color.

I miss you, I love you,. . .my unknown lover.
