Martyr

Martyr

A Poem by Jonathan Daniel Reese

Burn alive for my own vision

a sacrifice is self sufficient

close my eyes for a dark tomorrow

but in the end its loss of sorrow

grow cold in the misery

cause I know that you still can't see

from what you are to what I was

the need we lack. Believe. Its Love
