A Poem by Jonathan Daniel Reese

We're like ants in a bee hive

both different and we don't belong.

you said right now you just want to live

well take my hand hand I'll help you move on

we can run away

forget the things he'd say

come on you'd feel much better

we'd live our lives dream its forever

The stars are shining all so bright

they're always joyful why can't I

We'd watch the clouds from beneath the trees

I'd hold you close as you sing to me

You'd have the world and my everything

But you're so far and this is just a dream.
