Fault lines

Fault lines

A Poem by Reena
"

"No heart is impervious, even though some seem to be but then they are diamonds , no ordinary stone"

"

Fault lines

Playground of gossamer veils

Every look, an unspoken invite

Chirps  of  a sparrow pair

Promises of melody in flight .

A scratched name, a wooden desk

Alphabets added up hopefully

on a hilltop rock

beating love,its tremulous lyrics

written on every passing breeze.

Eternal love

once lay content between clasped palms.

Time dissolved it in tears

It escaped

through  the gaps of

unbroken

unspoken

promises.

nicely woven words with good imagery

then true love always becomes even stronger with tears and tough times, hearing even the unspoken is perfect understanding.

Oh, the poem is as good as the title. Wonderful imagery and astonishing allusions. This one is bittersweet yet somehow speaks of redemtion, if not today then maybe tomorrow.
