Harlequin

Harlequin

A Poem by Reema.A
"

Life is just one big ball

"
Life is one big ball,
Masquerade,
Masquerade,
Masks everywhere,
Life is just one big ball,

Lie a little,
Live a little,
Love a little,
Hide,

Two faces,
Two faces,
Masquerade ball

Two faces,
Two faces,
Masquerade ball,

I am the Harlequin,
Making you laugh,
You are the jester,
Stuck in a fool's dance,
Together like puppets- we are fools,
No one knows,
No one sees,
What we truly are,
What we see,

Lie a little,
Live a little,
Love a little,
Hide,

Two faces,
Two faces,
Masquerade ball,

Two faces,
Two faces,
Masquerade ball.

The poem is very good. The repetition of your words made the poem strong and the purpose of this poem very clear. You are correct. We wear many masks in a life. If we are lucky we can be our self in the comfort of home. A outstanding poem. Thank you.
