DreamsA Poem by Reema.AWho dares to dream?
Cocooned by our dreams,
We hope to never succumb to failure, And when we wake up, We will realize that it was nothing but a dream, And to fail " or not " is our choice, Profound words from elders' tongues, Spoken to the young… the naïve… Hoping " maybe " that wisdom - Will not fall upon deaf ears… Like a bird in its nest - Teaching off-spring how to fly - We set out goals " we dream so big - And like a butterfly we hope to spread our wings, Prayers raising up to the sky, A symphony of dreams not yet gone, Hopeful? Foolish? Who dares to dream? The sleeping caterpillar, The un-awakened Dream. © 2011 Reema.AAuthor's Note
