Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Reema.A
"

Who dares to dream?

"
Cocooned by our dreams,
We hope to never succumb to failure,
And when we wake up,
We will realize that it was nothing but a dream,
And to fail " or not " is our choice,
Profound words from elders' tongues,
Spoken to the young… the naïve…
Hoping " maybe " that wisdom -
Will not fall upon deaf ears…
Like a bird in its nest -
Teaching off-spring how to fly -
We set out goals " we dream so big -
And like a butterfly we hope to spread our wings,
Prayers raising up to the sky,
A symphony of dreams not yet gone,
Hopeful?
Foolish?
Who dares to dream?
The sleeping caterpillar,
The un-awakened Dream.

A amazing poem. A lot of wisdom in your words. We must not be afraid of the world and be able to stand on our own feet. I like how you made your statements stand true and positive.

You are a writer. A outstanding poem.
