DaughterA Poem by Red swallowLove is shown in different ways, even mothers throughout the age.
She grew up fast,
And now I'm slow, The time has past, And now I know, That every memory will never perish, They Will always be precious to hold and to cherish, From a child she did grow, To the beautiful women I now know, The Funny laugh that she did bear, Made me giggle with love and care, Her clumsy, messy personality, Grew to something full of love and charity, From the still pictures I still hold, I still see her heart of gold, When she hugs me and her eyes fill with water, I still see my smiling daughter. © 2017 Red swallowFeatured Review
