Samantha

                             I was sitting on my sofa watching "Amc's: The Walking Dead" when I got a call on my cell. It was my boyfriend Devin, and he was calling to check up on me. "Dude," I answered, "I'm watching The Walking Dead. What could be so possibly important right now?"

                           " Was just checking up on you, god. Did you paint the picture?" He asked. The picture he was talking about was a portrait of his mother, who had died just a month before from pneumonia. I'm supposed to paint a picture of her surrounded by angels and her family. I only had her head drawn.

                           " Oh, uh, no. I just started drawing it." I felt so bad. He's been asking me to make this painting  ever since his mother was in the hospital. I could hear his annoyed breathing on the other line.

                           " Sam. It's been 2 months already." and then he hung up.

 Of course he hung up. I realized its been 2 months, but god. We were still in school and I had to keep working hard to stay on the top of my class. Plus, I had hockey practice every other day. When did I even have time to think about the painting?

          " He made me miss part of the show!" I yelled. I grabbed my phone and texted Jenna.

               Hey Girl. Fighting with Devin. AGAIN! -.- When are you gonna come over! The commercials just came on. Come on, get off your lazy butt and take the 5 minute drive and finish watching this show with me. Please ! And give me a recap on what just happened because I couldnt even pay attention -.-.
