My Teacher Once Told Me

A lot of quotes I either came up with myself or heard someone say. I hope to bring this all together in one solid story one day.

This is it, right now at this moment. My room is lit by a dim light from a lamp and my hands are clasped in prayer. Trying to find the words to save me in this miserable existence I live in. The screen to my laptop is blank ready to be filled with countless generations of knowledge, strength, and perseverance. Who am I to say I know it all, but I have been taught by the best. Every person I have come across in dozens of my lifetimes has always taught me something. Even if I did not understand it, I learned and multiplied the lesson to other ears and sources of human existence. 

The first lesson

If you teach, you learn.

It was among the fruits of our labors that we saw the richness that we sowed, in turn the next harvest was even more bountiful.

They were beautiful, these creatures we call our children. Although their beauty only lasted if we listened to them and learned of them as if they were mirror images of ourselves.

If your life is a life where you do not teach or learn a single lesson, then it is not your life to live.

Kindness.

Kindness is the touch of a gentle soul in the wake of either sorrow or the normal pieces of life that fails to enlighten us.

The Ego.

Perhaps the true secret of life is that silence does not feed on us, expect us to live in pain, and ensure in us that we will always fail at our truest intentions in life. Silence is only a tool of patience and unlike what is said about it, it ALWAYS will have the winning hand. Roar the loudest in silence, and in silence, we will prevail…

When you take the duties of someone else’s life in their need to survive, many times you will come across a demon that tells you to give in. Do not. This person(s) needs are not fulfilled until they are satisfied. If you give up, then they have failed and suffered in vain. 

Practice doesn't quite make perfection, but it does make one hell of a masterpiece.

Relationships.

Family are people who take the duties of a Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, ext. If you do not take this duties or uphold them or even constantly trading them in for negative reasons, then you are not family

In land there are no people, but the people who harvest the land AND leave the land as its truest form. The same is said for people and how they use each other; in ownership there is no people, but the people who harvest AND leave themselves and others in their truest form.

Your Path.

You can journey, but always return home where you are TRULY happy, healthy, safe, and satisfied.

Addiction.

Do not feed, cherish every bite of eternity.

I Seek You (Manifestation).

Moving On.

Some may question when it is time to let the chicks fly from the nest even if it's to plummet to the ground. As a young man I have been for many years a teacher of the next generation and even a teacher of the generations before us. But there has always been and always will be a time to let my blessed and beloved, annoying and irritating, satisfying and ultimately joyous students go. I knew only of this time when the lessons would collide with themselves and confusion and misunderstanding would prevail. There were other times where I or my student would grow sick in self inflicted fever. It is okay for them to leave, it is okay to move on. They are always with you and never. Ever. Far from home.
