The Beginning

The Beginning

A Poem by Reddog19

The Irish venom boils in my veins,

Red, White and Orange.

Bubbling into my heart,

It is pumped through me.

Hatred festers in my soul,

Waiting to erupt.

Sitting patiently betwixt my minds,

Thinking of the ways to kill.

Grueling forces invade my head,

Ripping the good from my heart.

Past judgements are wiped away

And seething power consumes me.

I lash it down with ropes of reason,

But those do quickly snap.

Then I think of His thoughts,

And the malicious monster disappears.

But in its cage,

It starves and snarls,

Waiting to be released.

And waiting to kill.
