Slave Of The Pen

Slave Of The Pen

A Poem by Isabelle Howard

I write
And I read.
But I do nothing else.
I don't think of anything else.
I am a true slave of the pen.
A poet and a storyteller
All I do is write.
Dinner gets cold and I stay up late.
But at least I like it.

I adore your honesty. It takes courage to write these things down.
Thank you for your kind review of Little Green Creek. WC has freed me up.

You are very welcome, any time.
Same for me-I used to be very self-concios about my writing.
Doing what you enjoy is probably more important than eatinig or sleeping. But not at your age.

I know. I just wrote what came to my head and what I feel.
