A Poem by Tim Lawless

I can't answer every question;

In fact, I can hardly answer any of them.

But I suppose if I could answer my own questions,

I wouldn't be awake at 1:30 AM, with a 7:40 class looming in the near future.

Moreover I suppose I wouldn't be struggling with this

one

gargantuan

monumental

question.

Are You real?

It's not that I don't believe,

But faith feels so much like doubt

When doubt is all you've ever known.

Doubt feels so much like faith,

When doubt is so much easier.

In my head, I know every answer to every question.

And what kills me is that it all makes perfect sense.

But in my heart, I'm begging for proof of what I already know.

You're here.

The problem isn't You.

It's me.

I really liked this Tim.. and I think a lot of people have that same feeling..
I know I do.. I love this part
"It's not that I don't believe,
But faith feels so much like doubt
When doubt is all you've ever known.
Doubt feels so much like faith,
When doubt is so much easier."
