I Will Stay

I Will Stay

A Poem by Tim Lawless

You're always here,

I wish that I could say the same for me.

I always think I'm so damn good

At knowing what you need.

But for the life of me,

I can't find the right answer.

To the pain that eats away,

And kills just like a cancer.

It's not that I don't care,

It's that I'm just no good.

I've never been the person

That I always thought I could

Have been,

And now I don't know,

Just who I am, or who I became.

And I'll never know,

Just how I got lost in this game.

This is wonderful Tim.... Honestly.
I really love the passion in these stanza's
"But for the life of me,
I can't find the right answer.
To the pain that eats away,
And kills just like a cancer.

It's not that I don't care,
It's that I'm just no good.
I've never been the person
That I always thought I could"

As always, I love reading stuff that is more YOU and all. I think you're wonderful. Just don't be so hard on yourself.
