Never Knew (Love)A Poem by Tim LawlessIn my darkest hour, I find that I can put this to rest. Pardon the ambiguity, But some things are better left unsaid. Love is one of those things that nobody will ever quite understand. I mean--what I'm feeling--can you honestly say it's just chemicals in my head? Like my mind is just some cosmic accident, A cosmological practical joke?
I doubt it.
I'm putting...something...to rest here. Maybe I'm putting one last nail in the proverbial coffin. Or worse--maybe I'm putting one last nail in the hand of God.
I understand precious little. What I do understand Is something like this:
