Gone?

Gone?

A Poem by Tim Lawless

I find it interesting

That now that this is all out in the open,

And we've aired our concerns for one another to hear,

I find that I am completely sure

That I am completely unsure.

But I appreciate the honesty.

It eases the self-loathing.

And I know that it's ok to feel this way.

But a year and nine months

Is a long time to waste.

And I'm afraid I've wasted that and more.

Whatever happens,

Whatever conclusion we reach,

I promise to love you

The best I possibly can.

That is so sweet.
I absolutely love this confession poem, especially the last strophe.

Congrats on winning the ,,Let,, contest =D! You earned it =).

I love this, it's absolutely wonderful. It describes a certain struggle in a relationship that is somehow easing, though perhaps not in the most positive way, or at least, that is how I would interpret it. I can't say why I'm so fond of this poem, but you should definitely be proud of it.

It's very sad man...I really like it though.

As always, I love you poems. Where you actually just vent into the keys.
This is strong, actually, I think it is one of the strongest poems that I've read from you.

Though my favorite is still 2:12AM.
