For If He Wakes...

For If He Wakes...

A Poem by Tim Lawless

We will shake this earth

To its core.

We will fight in the name of our Maker.

We will not surrender,

Until every knee bows in worship,

And reverence for the King.

But how can we change anything?
We're all asleep!
Wake up! Wake up!
Don't you see what's going on?

It's all just oceans away,

It's someone else's issue.

But you're denying your gift.

You're denying what you've been given,

And most importantly,

You're defying your Maker.

We can change this,

There's still time,

But we must stir this sleeping giant from its slumber

Before it's too late.

All the nations could quake in fear at our sight.

We could prepare the way for a King.

We could occupy in His name,

If we'd only wake up!
